Shelly Withers, RDH, MS, PhD

Shelly Withers is Chair of the Dental Hygiene Department at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she teaches radiology and mentors student research groups. She obtained a BS in Dental Hygiene and an MS in Health Professions Education from Loma Linda University. She earned a PhD in Psychology and her research interests include educational psychology and burnout prevention. She is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, as well as Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, ADHA and ADEA.
